PLC and HMI

On shop.atti.it, ATTI offers Fatek PLCs, Weintek touch screen operator panels, remote I/O, and industrial PCs and monitors. Weintek panels support the most common protocols (Modbus, EtherNet/IP, and others), allowing them to connect to both Fatek PLCs and PLCs from other brands. The programming software for Weintek panels, EasyBuilder Pro, is free of charge.

Remote I/O are input and output modules installed away from the PLC, close to sensors and actuators, and connected to the controller via a communication network such as Modbus TCP or EtherNet/IP. They are needed when the machine is large or distributed: they reduce wiring, simplify the electrical panel, and allow for adding inputs and outputs without changing the PLC. The HMI panel is a dedicated operator terminal: it displays the machine status and allows commands to be given, with specific configuration software and immediate startup. The industrial PC (panel PC) is a complete computer, with an operating system like Windows or Linux, suitable when, in addition to visualization, management programs, databases, SCADA supervision, or data collection are needed. The HMI is simpler and more cost-effective; the industrial PC is more flexible. You can find both on shop.atti.it.
