On shop.atti.it, ATTI offers over 5,000 gears for power transmission: chain wheels, module gears, rack gears, bevel gears and bevel gear sets, conveyor wheels, chain tensioning sprockets, and worm gear and wheel sets from Framo Morat. Most items are branded ATTI and are available in various configurations (with hub, disc, with raw or finished hole). For sizes not listed in the catalog, you can request a quote.
The module (m) is the size that defines the dimensions of the teeth of a spur gear and is expressed in millimeters. It is obtained by dividing the pitch diameter by the number of teeth: m = Dp / z. For example, a pinion with 20 teeth and a pitch diameter of 40 mm has a module of 2. Two gears can work together only if they have the same module; the same applies to pinion and rack. On shop.atti.it, pinions, crowns, and racks can be filtered by module.
The module sprocket is a gear that meshes directly with another gear or with a rack, and is identified by the module and the number of teeth. The chain sprocket (also known as a roller sprocket) does not mesh with another gear but with a roller chain: the tooth profile is shaped to match the chain pitch (for example 1/2" x 5/16") and is identified by the pitch and the number of teeth. On shop.atti.it you can find the two families in separate categories: Module Sprockets and Chain Sprockets.
Even if they aren't listed on our website, we probably have the spare parts you're looking for. Let us know the quantities and we'll send you our quote!
