Our company is born in the early eighties, in a small building in Cernusco sul Naviglio, in viale Assunta, as regional exclusive distributor of gearboxes by SITI, a leader competitor in his market.

 

The founder’s experience, based on the world of ball bearings, led him to into a new challenge in the world of mechanical transmissions.

 

 

Before Internet...

In those years the internet did not exist and the information sources were not easy to access. Reference was still made to the lists of suppliers by geographical area, such as the Yellow Pages, where under the heading speed reducers ... A.T.T.I. already stood out for Lombardy!

 

Subsequently, to maintain our position and to provide a better service to customers, we have made agreements with other Italian partners to supply other devices related to the world of motion control: gears, chains, torque limiters ... try to give a Look at our current product portfolio!

At the same time, the 80s were characterized by the advent of information technology and technology, a decade that saw the birth of the first Macintosh, the first Windows operating system and the first home computers, such as the historic Commodore64 or the Walkman!!

 

 

The market evolution

As you might think, the industry has not remained immune, evolving through hybrid mechanical-electronic products.

 

The industrial transmission market has thus expanded and has been increasingly strengthened by electronics, starting mainly from the automotive sector (just think of the first ABS systems) and then arriving in all other sectors .

 

Seizing the opportunity and anticipating the market trend, we were among the first to believe in inverters, at the time in fact only speed variators were used , although, to be honest, the first examples of inverters were expensive, bulky and had some reliability problems.

 

 

Industry specialists

In that period our technical office was also born, precisely to support customers in the installation, commissioning and programming of electronic instruments for their projects and applications.

Later, in fact, we also dealt with PLCs and axis controls, creating programs on behalf of customers, and becoming increasingly experts in motion control understood as the combination between mechanical, electronic and IT expertise to get the best from your mechanical transmission, whether we are talking about lifting, positioning or interpolations.

 

The next challenge was to imagine and create ATTI 2.0, that is, to introduce the possibility of communicating with customers progressively more and more via the web.

We started with e-commerce and in 2020 we arrived at an articulation of our online presence based on 4 sites, as many as the different areas in which we are present with our proposal. One of these sites is the Online Shop, open 24 hours a day to allow anyone to place orders when it is most convenient for them throughout the day, accessing from any connected device.

This innovation allows us to also be able to communicate with other markets, so much so that since 2021 we have begun to offer a delivery service that goes beyond national borders to also serve Italian-speaking Switzerland.

Our philosophy has not changed for more than thirty years.

 

Our added value is the possibility of making available the expertise and experience of a technical staff capable of supporting in the design of the necessary automation, going beyond the 'simple' sale of components for the industrial sector, always advising our customers on the choice of product before purchase, often also following the installation phase for the most significant projects.

 

A choice we are proud of was equipping our sales officials with the first PSION handhelds since the beginning of 2000 to carry out sizing of the transmission components during negotiations, in order to offer quick and immediate advice to every interested customer.
