Couplings for Varvel reducers

couplings Varvel gearboxes, providing a direct and secure connection between the motor and the gearbox

Varvelcouplings allow for direct coupling between the motor and the RS/RT series gear unit, simplifying installation and ensuring high long-term reliability.

Designed for installation inside the bell (PAM), they provide precise power transmission, vibration damping, and minimal axial play.

Available in various sizes and lengths, they are designed specifically for Varvel worm and coaxial gear reducers equipped with coupling. 

The advantages of using a coupling are:

  • One gear ratio per gear stage
  • increased flexibility and inventory turnover
  • Elimination of friction-induced oxidation (tribocorrosion)
  • zero play in the motor-gearbox connection
  • reduction in heat transfer between the motor and the gearbox
  • high engine vibration damping
