How to Program an Inverter
To create our video tutorial on how to program an inverter, we used the VF-NC3 model, manufactured by Toshiba, as an example.
Thissingle-phase Toshiba inverter model requires the motor to be wired in a delta configuration in order to be powered by a three-phase 230V supply; the inverter will then generate the missing third phase.
Using the menu panel on the front of the inverter, you can control the motor with the “run” and “stop” buttons.
In the video, we’ll see how a properly connected selector switch allows us to operate the Toshiba inverter.
We’ll also see how to adjust the speed of the electric motor using a potentiometer.
Just follow the instructions in the video tutorial to see how easy it is to program a Toshiba inverter.
Alternatively, you can use a touchscreen. With this system, you can control one or more inverters without using a PLC.
