This chip is the heart of PLC B1/B1z and FBs PLC , the two PLC lines PLC make up FATEK’s current product offering.

If you need an PLC with a limited number of digital I/O points (up to 24), the B1z is the model for you. If, on the other hand, you need to manage more I/O points—including analog ones—and require more serial communication ports, the B1 is the right choice for you.

With over 40 CPU models available, FBs has the right solution for every need. The lineup includes CPUs with integrated motion functions supported by hardware featuring count inputs of up to 920 kHz!

PLC B1 Series PLC : Compact, high-performance MicroPLCs

The B1 is one of the most compact and affordable microPLCs on the market, despite offering high-level performance: 0.13 microseconds per instruction, floating-point calculations, integrated high-speed inputs and outputs up to 50 kHz, and expandability up to 128 I/O points.

The B1 is the most successful family within the FATEK range. It is a series of ultra-compact,PLC with a slim design that deliver top-of-the-line performance. The integrated CPU units feature a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 60 I/O points, expansion modules supporting up to 128 I/O points, analog inputs and outputs, an Ethernet option, and integrated positioning functions.

The B1 allows for the installation of expansion modules to the left or right of the main CPU. On the left side, you can install analog expansion modules and/or communication modules (up to one analog module plus a single COM port); on the right side of the CPU, you can install digital I/O modules as well as any analog modules or multi-channel temperature modules.

The FBs series is available in various CPU configurations, ranging from the basic MA series to the more comprehensive MC series, up to the MN series CPUs with advanced motion capabilities. Compared to the B1 models, the FBs series offers greater expandability—up to over 500 I/O points—a wider range of Ethernet communication modules (with integrated web server functionality), as well as specific expansions, such as load cell cards (up to 24-bit), making this PLC adaptable to any industrial application.
