Splined shafts are available with four or six rows of balls, which act on four or six raceways, respectively, depending on the model. The angle at which the balls are arranged, the circular arcs with a radius close to that of the balls, and the applicable preload eliminate angular play during rotation and increase the system’s rigidity. These components are characterized byhigh radial load capacity andexcellent torque transmission, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications.

This model is designed to keep the shaft stationary and allow the worm gear to rotate. The worm gear, in fact, incorporates a bearing that allows the flanged outer part to rotate relative to the stationary inner part, which performs the translational motion.

This is an ideal solution when the grooved bar must operate at high speeds or over significant lengths, since in these cases the grooved bar may remain stationary or move at very low speeds.

The LTR model is a compact rotary-motion unit equipped with support bearings integrated directly into the outer surface of the grooved worm gear, ensuring reliability, rigidity, and ease of installation.
