THK Actuators with Ball Recirculation Screw: Precision and Compactness
The ball screw actuators THK are designed to offer high stiffness, high precision, and superior reliability.

Series VLA
This is a new actuator with reduced dimensions, featuring a recirculating screw and rolling technology with encapsulated balls.
It utilizes encapsulated ball technology, allowing for very smooth movements due to the low preload used.
The carriage moves above a protective stainless steel cover for the screw. It also features a special laminar seal on the nut to prevent dirt ingress.
Available in two versions: the ST with a movable carriage covered by a metal strip and the CT with a movable rod in a pneumatic piston configuration.
Series KR
This actuator uses the body itself as the guide for the carriage's translation.
The body is made of quenched steel alloy, which allows the rolling tracks to be ground. This feature, associated with the high quality of the screws, enables high rigidity and positioning accuracy.
Can be supplied with 1 or 2 carriages per rail and optionally with metal protection.
Series SKR
This actuator is derived from the KR model to which the encapsulated ball property has been added.
This feature allows for an actuator with high translation speeds (up to 6000 rpm input), very wide lubrication intervals, and high movement quietness.
