Varvel couplings for gear reducers, direct and secure coupling between motor and reducer

The Varvel couplings allow for direct coupling between the motor and the RS/RT series reducer, simplifying installation and ensuring high reliability over time.

Designed to be mounted internally to the bell (PAM), they offer precise transmission, vibration absorption, and minimum axial play.

Available in various sizes and lengths, they are specific for Varvel worm gear and coaxial reducers equipped with couplings. 

The advantages of using the elastic coupling are:

  • single reducer size for each ratio
  • increased flexibility and stock rotation
  • elimination of oxidation due to rubbing (tribo-corrosion)
  • zero play in the motor-reducer connection
  • reduction of heat transmission between motor and reducer
  • high damping of motor vibrations
