THK offers a wide range of lubrication solutions for LM linear systems, designed to ensure consistent performance and reduce component wear.
Available lubrication methods include: manual lubrication using a grease gun or hand pump, forced oil lubrication via an automatic pump, and oil bath lubrication, which is ideal for heavy-duty applications.
In addition to lubrication systems, we offer plugs for mounting holes to prevent dust and contaminants from entering, parking brakes for linear guides, and a range of special treatments to increase corrosion resistance and extend the service life of components.
Lubricating grease
There are several types of grease that meet different needs, depending on the applications of LM systems.
Each set of balls is positioned at a 45° contact angle, so that the nominal loads applied to the LM carriage are uniform in all four directions (radial, reverse radial, and lateral), allowing the LM guide to be used in any orientation. Furthermore, the LM carriage can be preloaded in a well-balanced manner, increasing stiffness in all four directions while maintaining a low and constant coefficient of friction.

They are sold in cartridges compatible with the MG70 gun, which allows for manual lubrication of THK slides.

Plugs for covering mounting holes
End caps for Type C guides
They are used to prevent dirt from entering the threads of the mounting holes on the bars. They are not included as standard but must be requested with each order.
